		<description>I agree, although I believe that someone that is good with the pen tool don&#039;t really need any other tools. I see that a lot with stock photographers, some of them are very good extracting objects, because to get an isolated object approved in a stock library isn&#039;t easy if the extraction isn&#039;t flawless. Most of them use just the pen tool.</description>

		<description>By using the proper extraction settings it&#039;s possible to get a much more accurate selection. Also making adjustments using the extract&#039;s touch up tools is a lot faster then using the history brush and eraser tool. 

Personally I always advice people to consider to use a combination of techniques and tools. For example large curved edges or straight edges are better extracted with the pen tool. After you have the image extracted using the pen tool you can then continue with other tools, techniques or plug-ins. Never focus during extractions on one major tool... use the proper tool for specific areas of the image you want to extract.</description>
