From one comment left at one of my previous posts about Photoshop Brushes I found this new site that is a directory of available brushes for download from various artists. I have added it to the list but since the post is quite old I thought of blogging about it as well. The site is GetBrushes. It has a nice categorisation of the brush sets and each brush has a description and details information which makes the database easily searchable. Each brush set has a screenshot, which is nice and you can also rate the brushes, a feature that if used wisely will be very useful for people looking for good brush sets. We recently started GetBrushes.com to help artists to easier and faster find brushes they need. All reviewed brushes are presented in organized manner, sorted by type and author, searchable, with brush description and details listed, screenshot and usage examples images and of course download link.

In just 3 weeks we’ve already grown to 150+ quality brushes listed, and adding new ones literally each day.

It is brushes.net.tc and it contains a [growing] list of 400 free Photoshop 7+ brushes. I offer a very wide variety and I have them alphabetised as well. There is a tutorial section as well as a place to request brushes. I would be very grateful if you would add my website! I think it will be a very good tool for people as soon as I get some visits!
